Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

Welcome to my another review! yey! Okay so let me start. This time i will be reviewing K-Beauty Box that has been sent to me by YesStyle. So i've been following YesStyle in their social media and one day i came across their instagram and i saw their post regarding an event exclusive for beauty bloggers. It caught my interest because as you all know i love collecting beauty products and reviewing them on my blog so i don't hesitate and i immediately sign Up for FREE Korean Beauty Box (US$100 Value) that is composed of Top Ten best selling products from YesStyle. At first, i'm not really confident that i will be selected because i know there are lots of beauty bloggers and youtubers who has lots of followers and even very popular than me. But maybe after a week, i was notified in my email that i was selected by YesStyle and they are going to send me the Beauty Box consist of their Top Ten beauty products. So do you know how happy i am? :) I was very amazed because just yesterday i received a text notification from DHL that my package from yesstyle has been Shipped out and Taaada today i already received it. It was so fast! Honestly, they surprised me. I went to the mall and my mom is the one who received it from the courier, when i arrived i immediately open the box and oh! the Yesstyle box is really adorable. even though i'm expecting what it looks like, its still unbelievable and looks really pretty up close and in personal. As you can see in the picture above, this is what the YesStyle beauty box looks like. The box is decorated with some hearts, flowers, butterflies, perfume, lipstick, mascara, perfume, spray mist and etc. I would definitely treasure this cute box.

I am planning to make a review of all this Top Ten products so always keep your eye on my blog and ocial media. Moving forward, i decided to review first the popular Lip Sleeping Mask from Laneige.

Are your lips too chapped for a lip balm to handle? Are they covered in old skin cells that won't go away? Are you too lazy to carry a lip balm with you everywhere you go? Extremely dry lips? especially those who wear lip makeup frequently.

Sometimes applying lip balm just isn’t enough and no matter how much you apply your lips still stay dry and chapped. Enter the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, made with Moisture Wrap, which forms a moisturizing protective film and Berry Mix Complex, which is rich in Vitamin C to gently exfoliate dry flakes. Launched in Korea in spring of 2015, this Lip Sleeping Mask has been a hit.

Since when i was young having chapped lips has always been a problem to me. I always experience having flaky lips and others would tell me to use a lip balm or drink plenty of water. They will always associate it with lack of water or moisture.

Special care using Lip Sleeping Mask!

DESCRIPTION:

Vitamin C-rich Berry Mix ComplexTM, containing raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, blueberry extracts erases dry, flaky dead skin on the lips during the night to realize smooth and supple lips the next morning.

HOW TO USE:

Step 1

Before going to bed, apply a liberal amount with the spatula. ※ Effect: Melts stubborn dead skin cells and provides abundant moisture to skin during nighttime.

Step 2

The next morning, gently wipe skin clean with tissue or cotton pad. ※ Effect: Makes the lips smooth and elastic by removing dead skin cells.

So now i'm trying to open the box! This is how the inside of the box looks like. As you can see, the Lip sleeping mask comes in a cute pink bottle along with the applicator and a paper.

It's a small container, making it perfect for travel.

Its very secured. There's a white cup on top of it.

You just need to pull the one white one and you will now smell the strawberry scent of this product. It has a soft berry scent, but it isn't strong, not overpowering. For me it smells like a strawberry jam. Haha!

The expiration date is written on the bottom.

The applicator is inside a cute mini transparent envelope.

The Applicator. It comes with a little spatula to scoop up the lip mask. it looks like a wax and the texture is like a candle that melts with the heat that cools down or simply a melted wax. The spatula is made of soft and bendy rubber. Its shape is quite similar with the applicator we can see in some of the palettes, shape is like a shovel. I find it very helpful because its more hygenic specially when scooping the mask because its very gentle and it accommodate on my lips. When i put it in my lips, it doesnt feel sticky or greasy at all, it just similar when i'm applying sleeping mask on my face but this time its on my lips. I can feel that my lips is cooling and moisturizing. A very good way to pamper our lips.

As you can see in this photo i have a very dry and flaky lips especially on my top lips. My lips lacks moisture so this is the result. I always put lip balm but i think its not enough. It just gives me temporary effect.

This one is when i apply the Laneige lip sleeping mask. I used the spatula in applying it to my lips. The scent is so nice, i can smell berries and the texture is so fine and soft like a melted wax.
